Virtually everything in time (earth realm) seem spectacular, impressive, but grossly limited with little or no ability to secure.

Yes! Even so, if you should look round our world and carefully observe the unfolding of events and things, you could literally see how a good number of great ideas, innovations, businesses, jobs, and what have you?........stand helpless when faced with stringent policies, hazards, natural disaster, just to mention a few.

In the same vein, my recent experience of losing the original hard copy of the attached statement of results (fortunately retrieved via mail as soft photocopy), other vital documents, gadgets, and items to "FIRE" sponsored by an unfortunate orchestration - Is enough to help you understand and better relate with the overall subject matter.

And as God would have it, I never had to go into a state of depression nor commit suicide, not necessarily because it wasn't painful or disheartening, but rather for the fact that my life and destiny ain't dependent on/or tied to any loss incurred.

Now, imagine a situation where Google as a giant or big tech company seizes to exist due to an unfavorable government policy, or its Gmail "user database" crashes, likewise that of the school issuing the said result, and I wasn't able to retrieve any copy whatsoever? - Well...🤷🏻‍♂️, that tells me how insecure any document or certificate could be, seeing that it is still at the mercy of something else.

Jokingly in other words, you probably would also want to say I had my own version of trials and tribulations - Just like the man called "JOB'' in the Bible. #Smiles_😊

Furthermore, the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) - Is also birthing the likes of automation, robots, already replacing human(s) in several workplaces, even as a result of the same being considered more effective and efficient for service delivery.

And you know the shocking truth? - The future of "Job (paid employment)" is really at stake as the afore mentioned technologies continue to gain dominance.

Hello, WAKE UP - If you've actually been sleeping all this while.

Let me burst your bubble again, even that certificate bespeaking "impressive academic performance'' counts for nothing as "AI" up-trends.

Let that sink.

But don't get me wrong either.

Am I saying you should stop being serious with your studies? - NO!

What then is my case in point? - (i) Be excellent but take your eyes off those externals you obviously esteem and place so much confidence on, (ii) look inwards and discover your uniqueness, (iii) sharpen your God given abilities, and (iv) harness the same to the fullest.

Reason because, it is the gift (inherent potential/value) you carry that could make room or rather pave way for you, even in sight of great men, AI, whatever.


P.S - It Is Absolutely Possible To Lose Your Recent And Age Long Achievements, But Certainly Not The Value You Carry Within.
